Making soft serve ice cream at home typically is pretty impossible if you don’t have a soft serve ice cream machine. But, there are a couple of cool ways to whip some up for a quick fix and this is one of them! Today, I’m sharing one of the easiest ice cream soft serve recipes you can dream of. In just an hour, you can have some. That’s right. One hour soft serve ice cream! This is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.
As an easy bonus, it’s easy to add flavor to so many recipes with the new versatile PB2 Almond. I was so excited to learn that PB2 was coming out with a powdered almond butter! I ‘m loving how it worked to add extra thickness and flavor to this quick dessert recipe.
ALMOND SOFT SERVE RECIPE
With just a handful of ingredients, you’ll have your easy zip top bag soft serve in no time. Let’s get sweet! Here are the ingredients we’re using for this:
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/3 cup PB2 Almond
1/4 cup Confectioners Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 small Dash of Salt
Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and blend on high until stiff peaks are formed. It will be very similar to whipped cream, but thicker.
Then, transfer the mixture to a large zipper top bag. It’s easier to press it all down to the bottom of the bag now while the mixture is pliable.
Place the bag in the freezer for about an hour or until the mixture feels firm to the touch but it’s still squeezable.
Then, it’s time to serve! Cut off one corner of the zip top bag and squeeze the soft serve into four serving cups.
Make sure you make this when you are ready to enjoy it. It’s only good after that first hour before it completely freezes. Once it freezes, it will no longer be soft serve consistency.
Have you spotted PB2 Almond yet? What will you try making?
