All opinions are my own.
My son has the zombie look locked down this year. Putting on a scary face and getting your spook on for Halloween is the fun part. Clean up… not so much.
Make Halloween Makeup Removal Easy
Good old soap and water won’t get you too far when it comes to Halloween makeup removal.
Homemade Halloween makeup can be even more challenging to get off. We used food coloring and made our own a few years ago which was really cool, but trying to get it off my son’s face was truly awful.
Make sure to use good quality Halloween makeup to start with. The cheap stuff is a horror to get off.
Just like other cosmetics, Halloween makeup is best removed with a good make up remover. Simple® brand has some great varieties to choose from like their Dual Effect Eye Makeup Remover. Their products are, just like their name: simple. This makeup remover is made to be “kind to skin” and it’s the perfect thing to use after you’ve had makeup all over your face for hours.
I usually think to use cotton balls which work well, but I recently tried Q-Tips Cotton Rounds for the first time. They are so soft and do a tremendous job of removing a face full of Halloween haunting! They have more room to absorb all the gunk and the shape really works for using them on your face.
Don’t let makeup woes keep you from bringing out your BEST creep face this Halloween.
