Easter Jelly Bean Candy Board

Easter Jelly Bean Candy Board

Easter is fast on the way, so I didn't want to miss the chance to share a couple of options for Easter Candy Boards.  These special treats will be fun whether they are an appetizer, dessert or simply a display on your Easter table. This post may contain affiliate links.

This candy tray is another twist on this Ombré Easter Candy Tablescape that I shared recently. I thought it would be fun to use the same concept, but on a smaller tray as another option. The candies are mostly the same, but I added some of my favorite shimmer gumballs to give this one a little pop. No matter what kind of celebration you have planned for Easter, I hope this gives you some sweet charcuterie board ideas for thought.

I absolutely love pastel colors for Easter, but you can choose any of your own favorite colors that you can find bulk jelly beans in.

Generally, I love sticking to no more than 4 colors when creating a candy board in order to keep things looking sharp.

It's really easy for them to look off when you don't stick to a plan.

For this board, I selected purple, pink and blue in pastel shades. This simple ombré style board is actually one of the easier ones that I've made.

HOW TO SET UP A JELLY BEAN BOARD

Here are some tips to set up your own charcuterie board.

  • Pick a tray and choose the right amount of candies to fit it. You may want to base this on how many guests you are serving.
  • Measure your boards and divide by the number of colors you will be using so you know exactly how space to fill with each color. Put down smaller filler candies like jelly beans and candy flowers as a starting base.
  • Put your larger candies and plastic eggs and treats down perfectly on top of your base.
  • After placing the main candies, go back in with smaller filler candies/sprinkles to fill in any unexpected spaces.
