No Bake Dark Chocolate Ritz Bars Recipe

You know that I am a no bake dessert addict, for sure. Lately I've been creating no bake bars with a cookie and candy base. I've also tried using pretzels, but this time I wanted to try using Ritz Crackers. Oh my. These things might just be the best no bake bars I've made to date. Huge instant hit. They are the easiest to make with only 3 ridiculously simple ingredients, one sauce pan for melting and mixing, then a dish to set them in and you are on your way to pure chocolate... salty... crunchy... bliss. They kinda taste like a Twix bar without the caramel. Yum, is just a good way to describe these.
No Bake Dark Chocolate Ritz Bars with only 3 ingredients!

This is my first time trying a dark chocolate with my bars, it is in fact my husbands favorite kind of chocolate so I figured I'd give it a shot. It works nicely against the saltyness of the crackers, great flavor balance.

No Bake Dark Chocolate Ritz Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Sleeves of Crackers (Such as Ritz brand)
  • 2 Cups of Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
  • Non Stick Spray

Instructions

  1. Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick spray. Melt the dark chocolate chips on stove top or in microwave. Remove from heat and mix in sweetened condensed milk until fully combined. Add finely crushed crackers and make sure they are fully covered in chocolate mixture. Spoon mixture into pan. Press the batter down evenly with a spoon or spatula. Let cool for 1 hour or more. Faster if refrigerated. Enjoy!

These bars are definitely going to be a holiday party must simple because they are ridiculously easy to throw together and just as delicious. You can easily make them more festive by pressing in your choice of candy into the tops of the bars/ The possibilities are surely endless. Goodness knows I'm addicted to trying all sorts of mix ups of this basic recipe. I'll be sharing my peppermint pretzel bars soon, so be on the look out for those.

Think these would work with milk chocolate or semi sweet? We are not dark chocolate fans

These look and sound amazing. I love that there is no need to bake anything, I hate heating up my house in the summer with the oven.
