Easy Pineapple Banana Dessert Comes Together with 3 Ingredients

Easy Pineapple Banana Dessert Comes Together with 3 Ingredients

This is the easiest pineapple banana dessert recipe you’ll find anywhere. My basic pineapple dessert with only three ingredients has been one of the most popular desserts on my blog due to its simplicity and delicious flavor. The addition of banana flavored pudding gives this a perfect twist.

This easy 3 ingredient pineapple banana dessert became an instant favorite and I'm excited to share another perfect combo. It's easy to whip up anytime for a sweet bite at home and equally great for hosting, potlucks and parties. It doubles and triples so easily, too.

EASY PINEAPPLE BANANA DESSERT

The flavors of pineapple and bananas merge together so perfectly. You could say it has a tropical flair. For some reason it reminds me of something my mom would have made when I was a kid. It has that old school comfort feel to it, too. This is a perfect sweet treat for summer and pretty much any occasion you can think of.

Your mind will be blown when you see how easily these three ingredients come together. The magic happens in that first bite. It's way better than you can imagine. I've yet to meet anyone that doesn't love it and my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

My original 3 ingredient pineapple dessert uses vanilla flavored pudding mix and this version uses Banana Cream flavor. Such a simple difference, but the swapping of pudding flavors really makes for an all new dessert experience. I've experimented with some more flavor varieties, so stay tuned for those recipe shares this summer, too.

Here's what you need to make this:

  • Canned Crushed Pineapple with the Juice
  • Package of Banana Cream Flavor Instant Pudding
  • Whipped Topping

This recipe is as easy as mixing these three ingredients together and storing in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving. The reason for this is so that the dry pudding mix can absorb the delicious juices from the pineapple.Voila. It's truly that simple!

HOW TO MAKE EASY DESSERTS WITH COOL WHIP

If you're like me and like to make recipes with as many shortcuts as possible without making flavor sacrifices, you've come to the right place. For the ultimate flavor, you can add dry pudding mix to COOL WHIP. Let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour to set to perfection. Add a can of crushed or diced canned fruit with it's juices for the ultimate simple dessert or crazy amazing filling or topping for cakes and trifles.

This is the perfect flavor combo for just that little sweet bite every once and awhile. Divide into parfait cups and top with a little whipped cream and a banana slice or cherry for a pretty garnish.

Mini parfait cups are absolutely perfect for serving this pineapple banana dessert in. I ordered mine on Amazon but I've spotted similar serving cups at party stores and occasionally dollar stores and grocery stores, too.

This dessert tastes great when served with Angel Food Cake or Nilla Wafers, too.

How about layering in some graham cracker crumbs? Possibly three layers? I bet that would put these over the top!

I made this today with a little different flavors. I used crushed pineapple, pistachio pudding, and cool whip. This combination was awesome together.
