We’ve been enjoying quesadillas a lot lately. They are such a delicious and easy way to whip up a meal and the combinations you can come up with are truly endless. This time around, I added an Italian twist by adding al fresco Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage Italian blend cheese and Alfredo sauce.
Then to drive the Italian twist home, we used marinara sauce for dipping in place of traditional salsa. It was a super delish twist to a classic dish, that’s why I love thinking outside of the box. It can be pretty rewarding! So, let’s make these!
Asiago & Pepper Sausage Quesadillas
My family loves chicken for dinner, but it can easily get repetitive. That’s why I love switching it up for al fresco’s fully cooked chicken sausage that my family quickly fell in love with. They offer up many flavors to keep dinner new and exciting but best of all, easy!
How To Make Sausage Quesadillas
The first thing to do is to prepare the veggies and Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage which takes about 10 minutes total. Use a frying pan and butter to bring it together.
Then, spreading Alfredo Sauce on the tortillas and then adding Italian cheese sets things up to be pretty delicious.
Then, to complete the fillings, add your cooked veggies and sliced al fresco Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage.
In a hot buttered skillet, toast your quesadillas on each side and get ready to serve.
Add some marinara sauce to serve with the quesadillas for the perfect marriage of flavors.
