Summer is fast on the way and it’s been SO hot here in Florida already. We’ve been working on getting our yard in shape just in time for summer festivities. I can imagine myself serving up refreshing beverages like this Watermelon Grapefruit Iced Tea featuring Milo’s award-winning tea. It’s sweet and tart making it perfectly refreshing!
Iced tea is pretty much the perfect beverage for summer. The smooth flavor goes with pretty much every single summer food I can think of. Whether you’re serving it as is or getting a little fancy, it never goes out of style. Today, I’m getting a little fancy, but I promise this mocktail is as easy to make as it is delicious! Milo’s Famous Sweet Iced Tea combined with grapefruit and watermelon is sure to be an instant hit.
ICED TEA MOCKTAIL
Relying on Milo’s delicious tea means you’ll be able to whip up a unique mocktail anytime you want this summer. Their teas are freshly brewed from real tea leaves, it’s all natural and contain no preservatives or added acids. Matter of fact all of the ingredients are clean! With this no fuss option, you’ll have more time to enjoy your company. So, let’s make it!
For an extra fun touch, I added coarse pink Himalayan salt to the rims of my glasses. The extra pop of color makes this extra pretty.
Then, adding watermelon juice with just a dash of grapefruit juice to Milo’s Sweet Tea is where the magic happens. The watermelon juice adds that extra summer sweet flavor and the grapefruit juice is that pop of bitter that makes iced tea a mocktail. The balance of all of these flavors work so well together for summer.
This recipe was made for two, but can easily be multiplied for company. Once everything is mixed together, it’s time to pour over plenty of ice.
Then, it’s garnish time. I absolutely LOVE a wedge of fresh watermelon and grapefruit for this.
It’s like instant summer in a glass.
