MAKE SWEET RICOTTA & FRUIT WAFFLES
Are you ready to enjoy something tasty and new this summer? Let me show you exactly how I made these waffles with glorious swirls of sweetened Galbani® Whole Milk Ricotta and a variety of fresh fruits and drizzles.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED:
You only need a handful of simple ingredients to make these ricotta and fruit waffles.
- Galbani® Whole Milk Ricotta
- Almond Extract or Vanilla Extract
- Powdered Sugar
- Vanilla Waffles
- Variety of Fresh Fruits
- Drizzles, Syrups & Lemon Zest
First we need to prepare the sweetened ricotta. Then, add the fruity toppings and drizzles. Scroll to recipe card for exact measurements and instructions. We will be mixing a 15 oz container of Galbani® Whole Milk Ricotta with powdered sugar and almond extract which is my favorite or vanilla extract if you prefer it. Both will be perfectly delish.
RICOTTA AND FRUIT WAFFLE VARIATIONS
The topping possibilities are endless, but here are three of my current favorites. Explore and discover your own tasty flavor combos.
DARK CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY RICOTTA WAFFLES
This is one of my favorite flavor combos and it's extra yummy paired with the perfectly sweetened ricotta. You need sliced strawberries and dark chocolate chips to top the ricotta to make these.
Blueberry Banana Honey Ricotta Waffles
This delicious pairing really pops with drizzles of honey. Use a small heart cutter to make the bananas extra cute if you like. To prepare these, you simply need banana slices, fresh blueberries and honey of course.
Rasberry Lemon Ricotta Waffles
This surprising combo is so fun and a fast favorite. You need lemon zest, fresh raspberries and a little lemon wedge. Dust with a little powdered sugar, too.

Ingredients
- 12 Vanilla Waffles, Frozen. Prepared
- SWEETENED RICOTTA MIXTURE INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Container Galbani® Whole Milk Ricotta, 15oz
- ⅓ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 TSP Almond Extract or Vanilla Extract
- TOPPING VARIETIES:
- Strawberry Dark Chocolate Waffles: Sliced Strawberries, Dark Chocolate Chips
- Blueberry Banana Honey Waffles: Fresh Blueberries, Sliced Bananas, Honey Drizzle
- Raspberry Lemon Waffles: Fresh Raspberries, Lemon Zest, Lemon Wedge, Dusting of Powdered Sugar.
Instructions
Prepare Sweetened Ricotta Mixture by mixing ricotta cheese, powdered sugar and almond or vanilla extract until blended.
Spread ricotta on half of each prepared waffle.
Top with ingredient combinations:
