Perfect summer moments don't have to break the bank. A visit to my local Family Dollar always reminds me that if I get creative with my spending, I can get so much more. They always have just the right seasonal products to help me put together simple family celebrations. Let me show you how I created the perfect summer root beer float kit in a cooler that can inspire moments.
Root Beer Float Party Kit Ideas
Making a root beer float is so easy. All you really need is ice cream and root beer. The combination of fizzy soda and creamy ice cream is definitely a summer classic. You'll find all the fixings you need at Family Dollar. I found ice cream and trendy ice cream scoops as well as colorful mason jar styled glass cups with straws. Don't forget the huge selection of coolers of all sizes.
To make these root beer floats, use glass jar cups with lids or simply mason jars. Add three scoops of your favorite ice cream into each jar and store in the freezer until you are ready to go.
Pack one can of your favorite root beer for each float. Keep them cold in your refrigerator until you are ready to go.
Time for toppings! Make your floats extra special by packing up your favorite toppings like chocolate syrup, maraschino cherries, and sprinkles. I also found a two-pack of small plastic containers at Family Dollar that are perfect for dispensing toppings, like sprinkles, easily.
Once you have prepared everything, all you need to do is fill up your cooler. Don't forget your ice cream filled jars, cans of soda and extra toppings.
Now all you need to do is add friends and family and you'll be well on your way to a good time!
