Move over Friendsgiving, Friendsmas is here! Celebrate friends both new and old with a simple night-in with a decked out bar cart.
MERRY FRIENDSMAS SNACKS AND DRINKS
Let's start with setting up some very simple well-loved snacks and move on to the yummy sippy sips.
Get ready to serve up your favorite Family Size Frito-Lay® Products. I chose Lay's® Sour Cream Chips, Lay's Wavy Chips and, Lay's Limón Chips for the perfect variety of texture and flavor.
Add a variety of your favs to individual matching paper snack cups. You can even decorate them if you are feeling fancy, of just leave them as is to save time like I did.
For drinks, I set up some fancy cocktail glasses for the bar cart. I used simple syrup and red and green sprinkles to line the rims of each glass.
Then, let guests create the own holiday beverage by setting up a variety of Bubly® Lime and Bubly Strawberry and, Diet Mt Dew®. The colors are just so festive, I love it.
Add a selection of fun holiday garnishes for the drinks. I chose:
- Peppermint Sticks
- Jumbo Maraschino Cherries
- Sliced Limes
MERRY FRIENDSMAS BAR CART DECOR
Keep your decor very simple and popping with my quick ideas.
I like to purchase a couple of statement pieces and then just add matching supplies to support the party theme. So for example, I added a Merry Friendsmas banner and napkins. Then, everything else is simply red and green to make it all stand out.
Make the party larger than life with extra large star balloons. They are fairly simple to put together and add just a huge statement to any party. I used just two and it really brought the bar cart to life. Add a few regular balloons into the mix and boom!
Add a pop of color and holiday fun by simply sticking matching gift bows wherever you can. Easy, peasy!
