INGREDIENTS

Here is a quick list of the item ingredients used to toss together a batch of cutie little bite-sized Thanksgiving treats.

You can also make your own mini cupcakes of any flavor you wish instead of purchasing them already made. Chocolate with chocolate frosting looks pretty good though if you ask me.

I have made quite a few of these kinds of treats using vanilla frosting, and they are pretty cute, too if you do prefer it flavor-wise.

HOW TO DECORATE MINI TURKEY CUPCAKES

Now that you have your items gathered up, it's time to get busy decorating these cuties. They are unbelievably simple, so let's get a batch done.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cut orange and red M&M's in half using a sharp knife.
  • In a fan pattern, press three pieces of candy corn vertically into the frosting of the back half of each mini cupcake.
  • Carefully press two mini candy eyes into the frosting in the upper front part of each cupcake.
  • Under the eyes, press a half orange M&M for the "beak" into the frosting horizontally.
  • Under the left side of the "beak", press a half red M&M vertically into the frosting for the "wattle".
  • Voila! Now it's time to serve and enjoy.

Adorable Mini Turkey Cupcakes for Thanksgiving dessert. Easy idea using store-bought mini cupcakes, candy corn and candies.

Instructions

Slice the orange and red M&M's in half with a sharp knife.

Arrange three pieces of candy corn in a fan shape, inserting them vertically into the frosting on the back half of each mini cupcake.

Gently place two mini candy eyes into the frosting on the upper front section of each cupcake.

Below the eyes, horizontally press a half orange M&M to create the "beak."

On the left side of the "beak," vertically press a half red M&M into the frosting to form the "wattle."

And there you have it! Time to serve and enjoy.
