SANDWICH PLATTER INGREDIENTS
You can set up your own sandwich platter or hearty snack board for game day in so many different ways. Here are some yummy and simple ways to amp up your basketball tournament snack game.
BBQ SANDWICHES – are the perfect hearty addition to a game day sandwich board. Make them easily with Curly's Pulled Pork or Chicken, Borden American Cheese Slices, and topped shredded lettuce and jalapeño slices.
SEASONED FRIES – It's easy to season frozen french fries! Add a 32 oz bag of frozen french fries along with 2 tbsp of oil and a 1 oz package of Hidden Valley Seasoning Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix. Toss until all of the fries are coated. Prepare fries according to the package directions. You can also opt to add potato chips to your sandwich board.
DIPS – For something new, try Cacique Queso Dip. It's the perfect cheesy dip with a little kick that pairs perfectly with a variety of your favorite dippers and turns any snack into an instant fiesta. It's perfectly delicious paired with seasoned fries.
CONDIMENTS – Be sure to add a variety of toppings for your sandwiches. Toss in some pickles, too––my favorite.
HOW TO SET UP BASKETBALL SANDWICH PLATTER
Use a serving tray or a large baking sheet as your platter. You can lay down parchment paper if you like. Plan out how you will add your foods to your tray ahead of time and plan around it.
If you have a larger family or crowd, you can set out the ingredients and let everyone make their own sandwiches with Curly's Pulled Pork or Chicken, Borden Cheese Slices, and more.
Alternately, you can prepare the sandwiches and then place them on the tray for easy grabbin
Bake up the french fries as you are preparing the sandwiches or sandwich bar. Be sure to time them for when you would like to serve your sandwich platter so that they don't get cold.
You can lay down all of the dips like Cacique Queso Dip and other cold condiments ahead of time so that once the hot goods are ready to be served, you can finish assembling the board quickly.
Add a few decorative items like matching napkins or party supplies to make your ultimate b-ball sandwich tray a big win!
