HOW TO MAKE MULTI-COLORED FUDGE
Now that you have all of your ingredients and tools together, it's time to make your festive red and green fudge to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
Get started by lining your 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Once your dish is prepared, it's time to start melting the chocolate.
For the first layer, we add the semi-sweet chocolate chips with just ⅔ of the Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk to a small sauce pot. Stir continuously over medium to high heat until melted. Keep a close eye on it while mixing and lower heat if needed.
Next, quickly pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly. Store in the refrigerator while we prepare the next and final layer.
Add remaining condensed milk and all of the white chocolate chips to a small pan. Stir until completely melted over medium heat again. Very quickly divide the mixture evenly into three bowls and add the desired food coloring into each bowl until blended. I made red, green and light green.
Spoon the colorful mixture over the semi-sweet chocolate base, being sure to break up the colors so that there is a little of each color everywhere. Spread the mixture until it's even and smooth.
If you want more of a swirl and your mixture is still liquidy and melty, you can use a toothpick to further swirl the colors.
Once the layer is set, add your choice of Betty Crocker Sprinkles for that added pop of color and holiday flair! The options to make this fudge recipe your own are endless! Have fun with it!
Set the fudge in your refrigerator for 2 hours or until fully solidified. Cut into equal squares and enjoy.
Easy, peasy! You can easily customize this fudge recipe for any color for any season.
