Easy Parmesan Herb Bread with Only 4 Ingredients!
Have you ever actually had a crush on food? I've been completely crushing on some gorgeous herb bread that I originally spotted on Pinterest. It might just be the prettiest bread that I'd ever laid eyes on. I'm not the type to make bread from scratch. Actually pretty sure I would mess it up big time. So, I decided to give my go at a much simplified version that I'm calling Easy Parmesan Herb Bread which is more my style.
What makes this bread extra fun is that it's "pull-apart" which means you can reach in and grab a wonderful flaky cheesy piece easily. Mmm.
With only 4 ingredients, this bakes up into a glorious treat to accompany a meal or to impress dinner guests.
The star player "shortcut" in this recipe is Refrigerated Crescent Rolls! Then, you get to choose which herbs you want in your bread. I used parsley and rosemary. You can also opt for an herb like basil too. Choose two of your favorites!
To get this into your bread tin, here's what to do. Remove one roll of dough from the packaging and unroll it out onto a flat surface. Sprinkle with ⅓rd of your desired herbs and ⅓rd of the cheese. Cut into 6 even rectangular pieces.
Do this by laying out the dough so that you are looking at it in a rectangular shape. You need to make two slices evenly from top to bottom as the center will already be perforated. Each dough slab will make 6 even pieces of dough. Stack the dough "squares" carefully and evenly on top of each other. Then, repeat this same process with the two remaining rolls of dough. Carefully transfer your dough stack into a non-stick 9" x 5" bread tin.
Finally, it's time to bake up our scrumptious and simple bread!
Easy Parmesan Herb Bread with Only 4 Ingredients!
Ingredients
- 3 packages of (8 oz) Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
- ¼ cup Choice of Fresh Herb (Parsley, Rosemary, Basil)
- ¼ cup Choice of Different Fresh Herb (Parsley, Rosemary, Basil)
- 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove one roll of dough from the packaging, roll out flat. Sprinkle with ⅓rd of the herb and ⅓rd of the cheese. Repeat this same process with the two remaining rolls of dough. Carefully transfer your dough stack into a 9"x5" non stick bread pan. Place some foil loosely over your baking pan, the top will brown quicker, but we want the insides to bake up nicely. Remove foil for the last few minutes of cooking. Bake for 28-30 minutes.
What other types of delicious breads and treats have you made with Crescent Rolls?
