DIY HOLIDAY COOKIE WREATH PLATTER

HOLIDAY COOKIE WREATH INGREDIENTS
Here is what you need to make one of these festive platters:
- OREO Cookies
- Chips Ahoy!
- SOUR PATCH KIDS
- Swedish Fish
- Nilla Wafers
- Red and Green Cookie Icing
- Festive Sprinkles
- Frosting
- Large Round Platter
Once you have gathered your favorite goodies, it's time for the fun part!
HOW TO MAKE A COOKIE WREATH
Making your own festive decorated cookie tray is a breeze when you rely on your store-bought favorites available right at Walmart. Enter Chips Ahoy! and OREO cookies! Let's get started! Start by icing your cookies. Ice half of the Chips Ahoy! with a little green and the other half with a little red. Immediately add sprinkles while the icing is still wet.
Ice all of your Nilla Wafers. Half green and half red.
Ice one OREO cookie with red icing and add sprinkles.
While the icing sets, cut your green SOUR PATCH KIDS and Swedish Fish in half.
Press two halves of each candy into each other on the side that is cut. Press until they are secure and set.
Once the icing is set, take your round serving tray and start to decorate.
Use 20 decorated Chips Ahoy! to make a large circle that hugs the entire tray.
Add a smaller layer of about 12 decorated Chips Ahoy! on the inside of the first layer.
Top these layers with the decorative Nilla Wafer "ornaments", SOUR PATCH KIDS "bows" and Swedish Fish "wrapped candies".
For the PERFECT final touch, make a wreath "bow" out of OREO cookies and Swedish Fish. Use dabs of frosting to adhere all of the elements together. Place the decorated OREO cookie in the center and use the Swedish Fish as hanging "ribbon".
Voila! You now have a fun and festive dessert tray for serving and sharing!
