When it comes to a casual night in, I'm up for great conversation paired up with the perfect snacks and treats. I'm all about low key for New Year's Eve nowadays and nothing sounds better than a relaxing night in with good company. After the craziness of preparing for the holidays, I'm all about some chill time. Keeping it easy and casual can still have an upscale feel. I am sharing some tasty ideas to enjoy chocolate and friends this New Year's Eve. Are you ready for some tasty fun? When it comes to the perfect chocolate to snack on, my latest favorite is Brookside Chocolates. I am deeply in love with dark chocolate and they know how to do it right. Their unique mix of fruit and dark chocolate is pretty amazing. My husband and I have fallen in love with their Dark Chocolate Açai & Blueberry Flavors and Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Flavor. We both love them so much, that we agreed on counting how many we each get so that it's 100% fair. Yup, we are going old school on our snacking.
New Year's Eve Ideas: Chocolate & Friends
Set out the Brookside Chocolates, insert friends and a few other things and you'll be golden.
Pick a Color Theme: For New Year's Eve, I always love to go with gold. There is something so elegant about it.
New Year's Eve Props: Add some fancy to your party in a flash with fun props. It can be as simple as party hats and noisemakers, which happen to be my favorites. These really amp up the celebratory vibe and also give you fun props to take photos with.
Themed cocktail napkins are another one of my favorites. They generally cost less and are perfect to adding to your theme. Set out the chocolate. Picking the perfect chocolates to snack on is key. I love Brookside Chocolates because they are fruity and refreshing. They capture a real classy offering for your guests. Stick to a simple themed beverage. My favorite for a light drink that goes great with chocolate is a fruit water. Sparkling water with fresh citrus, is really nice and festive. Light some candles: Set the ambiance with candles, they really add to the overall laid back feel of a casual night in. Add all of these simple ideas together, and you'll have a really wonderful evening. It's not extravagant, but you'll be setting the scene for a night to remember. Don't forget to count down to midnight. Speaking of serving up the best, check out this pin featuring Brookside Chocolate. This dark chocolate delight is a must see.

Every year I say we are going to have a party...and we never do! We just get so exhausted and partied out by the time New Year's is here!! On a side note, I devour those chocolates...they have the best flavours!
We always celebrate and bring in the New Year at our church. We can't do it without delicious snacks. This chocolate will be coming along this year!!
I'm also all for a night in with great company for New Year's Eve. I love your idea of sparkling citrus water for the beverage. That sound delicious and refreshing. Any night that involves chocolate has got to be good!
I am not sure what we are doing for new year's this year, but this is a good start! I love the colorful hats and those sweets are SO good. I got a big gift pack of Brookside last year, and we enjoyed those for weeks!
