SANTA CHEESECAKE BALL RECIPE NOTES

Here are a few tips to help make sure that this easy dip recipe turns out perfectly for you every time that you make it.

  • I recommend using full-fat cream cheese for this recipe because it is creamier and has the best flavor.
  • Chilling the cheesecake mixture is imperative to this recipe. Chilling helps set the mixture
  • and will make it easier for you to form the Santa shape.
  • If you’d like to give the cheesecake a classic holiday feel, add 1⁄2 tbsp peppermint extract rather than 1 tbsp vanilla extract to the mixture.
  • If you need help getting the Santa shape you can use a large Santa cookie cutter to help you shape it.
  • It's important that you start with room temperature butter and cream cheese so that they will mix well and be smooth. You want your ingredients to be incorporated completely for this sweet dip.

What should I serve cheesecake dip with?

Cheesecake dip works well with vanilla wafers, gingersnaps, graham crackers, chocolate covered pretzels or your favorite cookies.

Is cheesecake dip served cold or at room temperature?

I prefer to serve my cheesecake cake dip cold, however, you will want it to warm up slightly so that it spreads easily.
