HOW TO MAKE POCKY CHRISTMAS TREES

Making these Pocky Christmas Trees is so simple that you don't even have to turn on your oven.

Melted green chocolate to make pocky christmas trees

Follow the directions below and you will have a tasty snack that your entire family will enjoy.

On a piece of parchment paper, place your pocky sticks, with the chocolate end at the bottom. Each stick should be a few inches away from the others.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine your chocolate melting wafers and your vegetable oil. Heat on low power for 30-second increments until your chocolate is melted, smooth, and free of lumps.

Allow to cool for about a minute, then transfer melted chocolate into a piping bag with a Wilton 4B star tip or something similar for a lined effect.

Pipe your melted chocolate over the pocky stick, in a Christmas tree shape, leaving about an inch and a half to two inches of pocky at the bottom.

Sprinkle each tree with a generous amount of sprinkles to act as the ornaments.

POCKY CHRISTMAS TREE RECIPE NOTES

Here are a few tips that you can use to make sure that your Christmas trees turn out perfectly every time that I make them.

  • If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a ziplock bag with the corner snipped off.
  • You can use any kind of sprinkles that you like. We used some green and red nonpareils, but feel free to get creative!
  • Store your pocky trees in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  • The vegetable oil helps give the chocolate a smooth consistency without lumps or grain.
  • This can be easily doubled or tripled to create more Pocky Christmas trees. Just make sure to melt the wafers, 12oz at a time rather than doing it all at once.
  • You can use a silpat mat for a more sustainable option rather than parchment paper.

CAN I USE DIFFERENT COLORED CANDY MELTS?

Yes, you can use any color that you prefer. You could also use melted chocolate instead of candy melts.

WHAT FLAVOR POCKY SHOULD I USE?

I used the original Chocolate Pocky, however you can use any flavor that you have on hand or that you prefer. The Strawberry Pocky flavor would also work great in this recipe.
