Budget Friendly Father's Day Gift Ideas

1. Outdoor Cooler Basket. Use a cooler for the gift "basket".  Add things like sunscreen, snacks like Slim Jim or trail mix, citronella candle, etc. Then, dress it up with a pinwheel and a card out of the envelope.

2. Coffee Lovers Gift.  Put a simple gift together for coffee loving dads with ground coffee, K-cups, creamer and an awesome coffee mug. This is an ultra way to save and get dad something he loves.

3. Auto Care Bucket.  Use a "auto wash bucket" as the base for this gift and fill it with auto specific goodies like air fresheners, sponges and cleaning supplies.

4.  Grilling Gift. Family Dollar has a surprising amount of really cheap grilling tools, you can fill a gift bag for under $10 easily.

5. D.I.Y. One of my favorite sections at Family Dollar is the craft/office supply section. Make your own cards with poster board and decorate with makers or even glitter sticks.  Pair up with some of dad's favorite treats for a super affordable gift.

Make sure to head to the Family Dollar Blog for my full post.

  10. I love the Outdoor Cooler Basket. I try to make the basket portion of my gifts something useful. Last year I used a lunch box and stuffed it with gifts for my husband. It ended up being one of his favorite items.

  11. I like the Auto Care Bucket gift idea. It would be a great gift for my husband or father in-law

  12. My favorite is the Outdoor Cooler Basket. He's been wanting a new cooler exactly like that one in the photo and we are having trouble finding it. Seems the hard sided coolers aren't like they used to be and he has wanted to get a new one for some time now.
