Feel the Magic with STORKS

Feel the Magic with STORKS

STORKS is a movie you didn't know you were needing in your life. This flick is going to tug at your heartstrings and melt you to the core before you even realize what's happened. It's like magic. You'll laugh, you'll cheer and most of all you'll feel something. I'm so excited that the wait is almost over! STORKS is opening in theaters on 9/23.  I was hosted by Warner Bros. Pictures in LA to preview STORKS to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Storks Movie Behind the Scenes Peek. In theaters on 9/23!

If you've been following along, I flew out to LA to get an early preview of STORKS right on the Warner Bros Lot and take part in interviews of some of the cast as well as the writer and directors. I'm thrilled to shake my tail feathers and share the movie magic today. This was my first time getting to do something like this so I'm extra excited for you to see this movie. Sitting in a room with well known actors like Kelsey GrammerAndy Samberg and one of my new favorites: Stephen Kramer Glickman is pretty darn cool. Getting to ask them questions and hear their answers first hand is quite exhilarating. It gives you a whole new outlook on what they do and how the movie came together.

What's STORKS About?

The movie is entertaining every step of the way. Don't worry, there are no spoilers here 😉 With adorable themes that speak to both kids and adults makes this a must-see movie for everyone. The overall takeaways were even more than I expected.

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.

Junior (played by Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, has a cruel but simple task to do before scoring a big promotion.  When he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, the cutest little mistake is born: Baby. (The cutest ever pink-haired cutie). Junior and his new human friend Tulip realize they need to deliver Baby ASAP before they're found out and blow it all.

The entire journey is action packed, kids will be sitting on the edge of their seat routing for the unlikely duo to make things right again.

STORKS: The Magic of Family

STORKS brings to light that family includes anyone that you love. The movie celebrates families of all kinds, you don't have to be related to open your heart to someone or something new. Here's what some of the actors had to say about the idea of who family is in the movie.

Andy Samberg is the voice Junior, the top delivery store at Cornerstore.

Andy on the definition of family:

I think that there's no one definition of family.  It's whatever feels right to you and whatever, you know, your reality is.  Also, maybe don't just focus on your work.  Make sure that you spend time with your kid.  I love all the jokes about the son where he's talking, like "You'll blink and I'll be at college." ~ Andy Samberg

Kelsey Grammer is the voice of Hunter, the money hungry CEO of Cornerstore.

Kelsey on the topic of the life family balance that is challenged in the movie:

Less work, more family.  That's what my life is now.  When I was 28 and I had my first child, it was a little more work, a little less family, and I actually still kind of regret it.

Stephen Kramer Glickman is the voice of Pigeon Toady.

Stephen on the topic of what family is:

I really feel like there's a real strong sense of your family is what you make it.  And I know the tagline for the movie is find your flock, but that really is what the movie feels like.  It's like your family is kind of what you make of it.

And whether it's having a stork in your family or it's having, you know, relatives that you've never met before, that's all part of, you know, what we make it in life.
