I love stocking up on frozen fruit! I can basically whip up smoothies any time I want without having to make a trip to the grocery store in the moment. Frozen fruits also have a longer shelf life than fresh, so it's a total win for me. Confession... I've let fresh fruit go to waste because life totally got in the way. Relying on frozen fruit allows me to reduce waste and I'm all for that!
What many people don't realize is that fruits are picked and quickly frozen to seal in the freshness so that when you use them you are getting perfectly ready-to-eat ripened fruit. You won't have to wait for your favorite fruits to be in season, you can have them at your fingertips any time by relying on frozen fruit options. How convenient is that?
And to make the best fruit and yogurt smoothies, don't forget to keep your favorite yogurt on hand too. With so many flavors and varieties to choose from nowadays, it's perfect for an everyday indulgence or as a go-to ingredient for a wide variety of recipes like the ones I'm sharing today.
Between resolutions in the new year and the thought that summer is on the way, I'm all about incorporating more clean eating options like smoothies. They are so delicious and filling, too! They never get boring because there are so many flavor combinations to try. Love it!

Smoothies are my favorite way to start the day. I love adding yogurt to my fruit smoothies. It gives a great texture and helps fill me up. I like to stock up when I can on my frozen fruit.
