Caramel Nut Cottage Cheese Dessert

Over the last week or so, I've been kicking trail and taking names. I've decided to get into gear and I'm not letting the summer heat keep me from getting in daily mileage. Now, you know how much I enjoy my sweet treats, so I wanted to try something a little different. Enter this Caramel Nut Cottage Cheese Dessert that's surprisingly delish and satisfying.
Speaking of kicking trail...we're so lucky to live close to this absolutely amazing park. There are so many areas to explore so it never gets boring to walk and get excessive in. This is where I've been spending 2 hours each day and I just can't get enough. I could use a couple extra hours in the day!
After sweating it out, creating a delightful treat with Friendship Dairies Cottage Cheese just seemed right. I've always considered cottage cheese more of a savory food, my fav way to enjoy it is on my salads. If you haven't tried it, you should!
For something sweet, I added toppings that I would normally add to an ice cream sundae, I've discovered something completely mouth watering. One of my absolutely must-haves on a sundae is caramel. Mmm. I simply drizzled caramel and topped with crushed peanuts a dab of whipped cream and of course a maraschino cherry for good measure.
This super easy dessert combo is absolutely delish. I even surprised myself. The possibilities are endless, too. You can swap out for a drizzle of chocolate add more fruit like sliced banana. I'm making myself hungry just thinking about all the yummy combos to try! Imagine that? The Original Superfood is the perfect canvas for the perfect treat!
My fancy is walking & sweet treats. What's yours?
If you could describe yourself based on the #1 activity you love, what would it be?
My husband enjoys it with dark Karo syrup, me too!
That looks absolutely delicious!
We love cottage cheese and dress it up all the time. Although all that caramel might make it a little rich for the diet!
