RAINBOW DANCING WAND SUPPLIES

You will just need a couple of items to make these whimsical wands.

Here is what you need:

(8) Satin Ribbon Strands in a Variety of Colors, 1 Yard
(1) Child’s Drumstick or Wooden Dowel

HOW CAN I MAKE A DANCING WAND?

It's so easy to make your own Rainbow Dancing Wand. Here are the simple steps to follow. You can also download the full instructions here to keep for yourself.

Making a very tight double knot, secure each ribbon to the top end of your drumstick or wooden dowel in order of your desired rainbow colors.

You can use traditional rainbow colors or choose pretty pastel pops of color inspired by the rainbow to replicate the look of Rainbow Puppy.

Repeat this double knot process until each of the ribbons are in place.

Optional Ideas:

Adults can use a glue gun to help and secure the ribbon permanently if you desire.
You can also opt to burn the end of each ribbon to seal it and prevent the threads from shedding.
