MAKE MINI BOWS
First, if you are making bows to add, make them now. Start by making tiny black bows using a simple hack with black ribbon and a glue gun.
Keep it simple by taking one strip of ribbon and making a loop. Glue the ends together. Press the loop down the center to flatten it and glue that spot together.
Then, glue two smaller snippets of ribbon behind the loop where the seam you glued together.
Finally, glue a small square of the ribbon to the front to complete the bow. Voila!
Use double sided tape of choice to stick a ribbon onto the front of each gelatin cup.
PREPARE GELATIN CUPS
Once the ribbons are set, it's time to peel the tops of of each gelatin. Set aside.
In three small bowls, divide your whipped topping and use one of each yellow, orange and purple food coloring to tint. Mix until blended.
Add one color at a time to a piping bag fitted with the open star tip.
To add a unique "hairstyle" inspired by each Sanderson Sister, I used Disney World Hocus Pocus cupcakes and the Hocus Pocus movie cover as inspiration.
Winifred Sanderson - Use orange gelatin and tinted whipped cream. In a circular motion, swirl the whipped topping around while tapering in as you go up. For a final touch, make a tiny swirl on both the top right and left of the initial whipped topping hump.
Mary Sanderson - Use purple gelatin and tinted whipped cream. This was a fun one. Start the same way you did for Winifred, but go taller and longer and pull to one side as you go to bring the whipped topping to a crooked point.
Sarah Sanderson - Use yellow gelatin and tinted whipped cream. This is the easiest design. We are starting the same way as the other two designs, but ending a whole lot sooner to make a much smaller heap of whipped topping.
