NUTTER BUTTER TURKEY CUPCAKES INSTRUCTIONS
Here’s how to create these turkey-inspired cupcakes! In just three simple steps, you’ll have them ready to serve in no time.
This decoration tutorial is based on the use of store-bought cupcakes from Walmart. I used a 6 pack of half chocolate and half vanilla. You can very easily make your own if you prefer.
- Start by making the Nutter Butter Cookie Turkeys. Use a toothpick to apply small dabs of frosting, attaching two mini candy eyes and candy-coated sunflower seeds for the beak and wattle on the upper half of the cookies, standing them upright. Set them aside for at least 15 minutes to let the frosting harden.
- Gently press a prepared Nutter Butter cookie into the top center of each cupcake. Press them down deep enough so that the cookies can securely sit upright without help.
- Press pieces of candy corn into the frosting in a fan pattern horizontally right behind each Nutter Butter turkey to look like "turkey feathers". Serve and enjoy!

Notes
Best if served immediately as the cookie can get stale rather quickly. if left out.
If storing, place in an air-tight container, Refer to the expiration date on your store-bought cupcakes as that will determine how long the cupcakes will be good for.
For reference, the cookies themselves can last up to a month in the refrigerator as long as they are sealed tight.
