Let me be honest, this describes me pretty much multiple times per day.

DIY SMOOTHIE TUMBLER

When it comes to starting new habits, I'm convinced that a good drink tumbler is almost always at the heart of it. I just got a new crafting machine and wanted to make my very first DIY cup to start my new morning routine with my Dole Boosted Blends Energize smoothies. I thought it would be fun to create a personalized cup with my name on it.

Let me show you how I made my very own first smoothie tumbler. To take it over the top, it's also color-changing! So once you add your smoothie, it will be an all-new color. How fun is that? Let's get a little crafty with it.

DIY SMOOTHIE TUMBLER CHECKLIST

Here is what you need to make something like this:

  • Crafting Machine with Cutting Mat and Weeding Tools
  • Permanent Vinyl
  • Transfer Paper
  • Color Changing Tumbler - blank

CREATE WORDS FOR DIY SMOOTHIE TUMBLER

The first thing to do is make sure to decide if you want to add any extra designs on your cup.

Then, you can find a basic template for tumblers and pull that up and adjust with your own measurements for the cup you will be using into the craft machine program.

Once you add those stats, you can start creating your own template for your vinyl. Start by choosing a font. I loved this pretty font with hearts that I found.

When you have all of your vinyl designs printed, it's time to weed them. This means you are using a weeding tool to remove the excess vinyl to reveal the completed words.

APPLY VINYL TO DIY SMOOTHIE TUMBLER

Before you can add your printed vinyl to your cup, you need to add it to some transfer tape.

You can do this by placing a portion of transfer tape face down without backing onto a cutting mat.

Then, very carefully line up all of your words and stick them face down onto the tape.

Once everything looks perfect and positioned the way you want it, you can remove the transfer tape and carefully press it onto your cup.

Use a scraper or craft squeegee to press it very firmly on and remove any air bubbles.

Lastly, remove the tape slowly to reveal your fun new design. Viola.

I'm obsessed with how this turned out and is just the beginning to all the fun things I will be making!

Now that we have an epic color changing smoothie tumbler, it's time to fill it up! Here is a very simple smoothie recipe that I'm loving right now.

INGREDIENTS:

I just toss these simple ingredients into my high-powered blender and turn on high until blended. About one minute.
