3 INGREDIENT PISTACHIO DIP INGREDIENTS

Here is what's needed:

  • Instant Pistachio Pudding Mix
  • Cold Milk
  • Whipped Topping

Voila. Yes, that is all you need. If you want to make it mint flavored instead, you can use Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix and a teaspoon of Peppermint Extract instead.

HOW TO PREPARE THE DIP

You can opt to serve the 3 ingredient pistachio dip as-is or serve it in shamrock-shape. First, let's go over the dip. It just takes a few minutes to prepare and is ready to serve in just 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Here is another pistachio dessert with just 3 ingredients to try, too.

In a large bowl, combine the instant pudding mix, cold milk and whipped topping with a whisk. After mixing for about two minutes, set the bowl in your refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Then, your dip is literally all ready to serve. If you want to use the dip to make an adorable shamrock, keep reading.

You will need pastry bags and 1M pastry tips.

It might also be helpful to print the shape of a shamrock and trace it onto a piece of parchment paper and trim it like I did. You can place the parchment where you want your shamrock dip to go and use it as a guide.

Fill your fitted pasty bag with the dip. Pipe it onto the shamrock-shaped parchment or simply freehand your design. Press down straight and squirt a small amount of dip, stop pressing and life the bag up. Repeat this until the entire shape is created. Then, go back over it one more time to use the rest of the dip.

To take this to the next level, we will pipe the rest of the whipped topping around the shamock shape. You can do just the plain whipped topping at this point or tint it a darker green with food coloring.

If you want the ultimate St. Patrick's Day dessert, then divide the whipped topping into three bowls and tint them each a different color like I did. I did red, yellow and green. The possibilities are endless here. Just have fun with it.

Set the dip in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. The dip is good for up to 4 days if sealed and stored properly in the fridge.

Transform 3 ingredient pistachio dip into the perfect shamrock-shaped dessert dip. Made with instant pudding, cold milk and whipped topping. Serve with fresh fruit and a variety of cookies.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Container Whipped Topping (divided)
  • 1 Pistachio 3.4 oz Instant Pudding
  • ¾ Cup Whole Milk

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix half of the whipped topping, dry pudding mix, and milk with a whisk for two minutes. 

Let mixture set in fridge for 15 minutes.

Spread mixture onto a clean serving board with a frosting knife or pipe it into a shamrock shape using a pastry bag and star tip. Repeat the layer to use all of the dip.

Add remaining whipped topping around the entire shamrock by spreading with a frosting knife or using a pastry bag and star tip.

Serve with variety of fresh fruits and cookies.

If not serving immediately, chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
