As much as I dislike the idea of rushing time along, I have to say that I always look forward to fall.
It feels like all that's ahead are special moments and possibilities.
This cute cheese tray idea is just the perfect way to get festive for any Autumn occasion or even just a cozy or spooky movie night in.
This might be my favorite idea next to the sunflower cheese and cracker trays that I made earlier this month.
No matter what you choose, I don't think you can go wrong here.
Now back to making these fun and festive cheese trays.
First thing to do is find a good sized round tray.
The serving tray that I use most often like here is about 13", for reference.
Once you have your tray picked out, the rest is a breeze.
I have the instructions written up for you in the recipe card.
You can easily print or save it from there.

Pumpkin Cheese Tray
Ingredients
- 30 Cracker Cut Cheddar Cheese Slices
- 20-25 Round crackers
- 1 stalk of celery (for the pumpkin stem)
- Black olives (whole and sliced)
Instructions
Prepare the cheese base by arranging the cheese squares into connected rows on a large round serving platter to cover as much space as possible.
Make a border by adding the crackers all the way around the cheese circle leaving space open at the top for the "pumpkin stem:.
Make the “pumpkin stem”. Cut a celery stalk into 2 or 3 shorter sticks. Place them at the top of the cheese circle to look like the pumpkin’s stem. Then, add a little celery leaf on the side for a cute touch.
Finish by making a face with either a variety of olive shapes or pepperoni. Here is what I did for my favorite version: cut black olives into triangle shapes for the eyes. Slice more olives into rounds and arrange them into a smiling mouth.
Serve & Enjoy. Pair with extra crackers, veggies, or dip on the side if you like.
