CHRISTMAS GIFT WITH MISTLETOE SUPPLIES
Here is what you need to make a romantic gift box of your own.
- Holiday Gift Box with a Lid such as this Red Gift Box.
- Elastic Cord String, I used white.
- Duct Tape - Decorative if you like.
- Mistletoe Spring
- Variety of Seasonal Holiday Hershey's Kisses. This Hershey's Kisses Variety Pack has Sugar Cookie, Hot Cocoa and more.
HOW TO MAKE A ROMANTIC CHRISTMAS GIFT
It's so easy to make this cute kiss me box.
First fill up your gift box with all of the goodie you would like.
I think adding a variety of Hershey's Kisses is perfect for this theme.
Add additional romantic items if you like.
Next, cut a small piece of your elastic cord string to attach the mistletoe to the gift box lid. Use duct tape to adhere the string to the box. Get a visual of how to tape it onto the box with my Spooky Box tutorial.
You won't want to add more than about 6-8" of cord so that the mistletoe will be dragged out of the box to surprise your loved ones when they remove the gift box
If your mistletoe has a loop at the top like mine, just loop the cord through.
If it doesn't, you may need to adhere the cord directly to your mistletoe either using more duct tape or glue.
Once the mistletoe is secures, it's time to finalize your gift idea by adding a small note. You may want to send the hint that you want a kiss.
A simple note inside or attached to the mistletoe would be a nice extra touch.
The love note can simply say "kiss me" or anything else you want to say, of course.
