If you love this sweet version, you might also enjoy my snack teacup charcuterie, which uses fruit, cheeses, and snacks for slightly more classic take on individual charcuterie cups.

First thing to do is choose pretty teacups to use, if you don't have any, you can find similar bow teacups to the ones I used or a really cute set of disposable teacups like these, too.

Then, it's all about carefully choosing your yummy treats to put inside. I made these last spring and I'm FINALLY just getting around to adding the details here. Let's get to it.

I'm not going to go overboard with a tutorial here because, it's a simple visual idea but I want to add a few pointers to help you make the very best desserts for your event or special moment.

WHAT TO FILL DESSERT THEMED TEACUPS WITH?

Simple answer here is CHOCOLATE. The beauty of making teacup dessert charcuterie is the mix of textures and flavors.

Since this version is pretty much all chocolate, start with a variety of chocolates, then pick a couple complementary items like strawberry and fresh mint to keep each cup interesting.

  • Wrapped or unwrapped chocolates
  • Variety of chocolate bars
  • Chocolate covered nuts and fruits
  • Pocky and other wafers
  • Bite sized chocolate candies
  • Strawberries and other berries
  • Sprig of fresh mint

Get the exact list of items used in this sample teacup dessert in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

Aim for a balance of shapes and sizes so everything looks full, layered, and easy to grab.

WHEN TO SERVE TEACUP DESSERT CHARCUTERIE?

These adorable chocolate filled teacups work for so many occasions because it is easy to serve and already portioned. It is especially great when you want something that feels thoughtful without requiring extra prep.

Perfect for:

  • Parties and gatherings
  • Baby or bridal showers
  • Holidays and dessert tables
  • Girls nights or small get togethers
  • Mother's Day and tea parties

Quick note because this is SO important. These are not good for warm weather events that take place outdoors because they will melt. Opt for cooler weather and air conditioned events and thank me later.

Double down by pairing these with a savory option if you want to offer both sweet and savory choices.

Yield: 1
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Teacup dessert charcuterie is an easy no bake idea filled with chocolates and sweet treats, arranged in individual servings that are perfect for parties or gatherings.

Instructions

Start by adding a layer of bridge mix to the bottom of each teacup. This helps create a stable base to anchor all of the chocolates in place.

Place your larger items towards the back next, such as chocolate bars. Angle or stack them slightly to build height.

Tuck in any taller elements like chocolate wafer sticks toward the back to add dimension and draw the eye upward.

Fill in around those pieces with smaller treats like chocolate covered nuts and bite sized candies, making sure everything feels balanced.

Add fresh elements like sliced strawberries and mint for color and contrast. Be sure to keep the cut side of the strawberries from touching the chocolate so it does not become soft or mushy.

Finally, go back in with more bridge mix to fill any gaps to secure everything and give the teacup a full, finished look.

Notes

This is best served in cooler environments so that the chocolate won't melt.

Choose dry fruits or if slicing berries, be sure the wet side doesn't touch the chocolate.

I hope that you enjoyed this quick but pretty idea. It's a fun way to use pretty teacups and to elevate any occasion.
