Just hand me a fun and festive mug, a delish beverage and a sweet holiday treat and I'm in pure bliss. Christmas to-do lists are practically writing themselves. Okay, I'm kidding. But, truly this is the time of the year where a little time for ourselves is a total must to keep sane! Enter this tasty Gingerbread Hot Chocolate recipe to get your party for one started! Take your Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa to all new heights when you add your own festive flavors! Let's take traditional gingerbread ingredients and add them to our mug of yummy goodness.

Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Prepare one packet of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa according to package directions and immediately add remaining ingredients and stir. Then, it's totally optional but I totally recommend topping with whipped cream and a dash of ground cinnamon. If you are feeling oh-so-fancy, garnish with a cinnamon stick!

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa
  • ¼ Tsp. Molasses
  • ¼ Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • Dash Ground Ginger
  • Dash Ground Cloves

Instructions

  1. Prepare one packet of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa according to package directions and immediately add remaining ingredients and stir. Optional: top with whipped cream and a dash of ground cinnamon. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if you are feeling fancy. Enjoy!
