TOOLS AND SUPPLIES FOR SNOWMAN TRUFFLES

Here are some helpful items that were used to make these.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNOWMAN TRUFFLES

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the flour evenly over the sheet and bake for 5 minutes, then set it aside to cool completely.

In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together for 3–4 minutes, then mix in the vanilla for about 1 minute.

Add the flour and salt, mixing until fully incorporated. Gradually add the milk until the mixture forms a soft cookie dough consistency.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips and Christmas sprinkles, being careful not to overmix.

Scoop the dough into 2-tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Use a fork to dip each dough ball into the white chocolate, leaving some extra chocolate at the base to form a "puddle." Place the dipped dough balls back on the parchment-lined sheet and repeat for all. Chill for 10 minutes.

Melt the black chocolate using the same method. Transfer it to a piping bag, cut the tip, and pipe eyes, smiles, and expressions onto each snowman.

Use any remaining white chocolate to attach an orange sprinkle as a nose. For the hats, use the black chocolate to stick together a Reese’s cup and an Oreo, then attach the hat to each snowman’s head, tilting some for added personality.

Once everything is set, serve and enjoy your festive melted snowmen!
