ASSEMBLE AN EASTER BASKET CAKE
Ready to make a fun little cake with zero fuss. You will have a lot of fun making this and even more fun sharing it. Let me walk you through the easy steps to make it now.
Place the two cakes together by placing one on the top of the other onto a serving plate.
Draw eyes onto the bottom cake by using an icing writer or sparkle gel. I drew a wide U shape and then two eye lashes on the bottom of each one. You can get creative here if you like, but I enjoyed the simplicity and sweet look o this.
Make an upside down u shape for the basket handle on the top cake using the gum balls.
Now it's time to place down mini cadbury eggs by lining them up. Start by concealing the line where the cakes are touching. Keep setting them down to create a rounded heap to look like Easter eggs in a basket.
For a final touch, u a single fruit by the foot snack to make a bow/ribbon. Then, place it on the right hand side covering some of the candies.
Once that is set in place, it's time to ENJOY this yummy treat.
