There is something so magical about the first snowfall each year. Now that I live in Florida and miss out on the fluffy white stuff, I thought it would be fun to make a pie that feels like the very first snowfall of the season. It just had to be peppermint flavored of course. This fun pie is so easy to make thanks to La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk available at Publix.

HOW TO MAKE FIRST SNOWFALL PEPPERMINT PIE
This dreamy peppermint pie couldn't be any easier to make. It is made with a smooth but firm peppermint flavored filling made perfectly with La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk.
Start by dissolving the gelatin in a small dish by adding boiling water. Then, we'll add that along with a can of La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk to a sauce pan on medium heat until warmed. Be sure to stir occasionally to fully combine. Remove from the heat and immediately add the white chocolate morsels and peppermint extract and mix until the chocolate is melted and combined. Store the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Then, add half of the whipped topping and fold in until fully combined. Add this mixture into your pie crust. Store the pie in the refrigerator for two hours so it can solidify perfectly.
Finally, it's time to add the extra touches that bring this delicious pie together. If you like fancier presentations, you can use a french tip with a pastry bag to pipe on the rest of the whipped topping.
You can also just spread it over the top as well to keep things simple.
Lastly, sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the top of the pie. Not only does it make the pie delicious, but it also makes it a show-stopper.
I've made many peppermint pies, but this one is the most unique. With a creamy gelatin base and a fluffy topping, I'm in love.
