10 Easy Holiday Appetizer Ideas for a Perfect Party

Delicious food is such a wonderful part of our holiday celebrations. One thing that I really look forward to are the finger foods. Aside from game nights, we don't always get to enjoy tasty mini foods. I put together some easy holiday appetizer ideas for a perfect party today. Warning, you may get hungry upon reading! This post was sponsored by MINH® Mini Chicken Egg Rolls and I was compensated to write it. Regardless, what I have written reflects my own opinion and experience. I hope you find it useful.

10 Easy Holiday Appetizer Ideas

1. Cheese & Crackers. These are such a classic appetizer! I'd be disappointed if I didn't get to enjoy them during holiday parties. As standard as it can be, it doesn't have to be boring. There are so many varieties of crackers and cheeses available nowadays that you could serve a new combo every time!

2. Shrimp Cocktail.  This is my son's favorite. When we're guests, I have to often remind him that there are other guests that may want to enjoy some too. Take note, if you're inviting us to your party, you might want to buy double. 😉

3. Veggies or Fruit & Dip. Another classic holiday starter. If you're feeding big, Sam's Club has what you need. I picked up this BIG pre-made ready to go platter packed with fresh veggies. Nom.

4. Finger Sandwiches. These minis can be made it so many ways. You can put out lunchmeats and cheeses and guests can make their own. You can also pre-make them. Sandwich salads are popular for this such as egg salad, deviled ham salad or chicken salad for example.

5. Cheeseball. This classic appetizer can be made in so many different ways. From sweet to savory, they're always a big hit. I officially just made myself hungry thinking of the possibilities.

6. Cocktail Meatballs. My mom often made a big pot of meatballs in the slow cooker for parties. Perfect option because they're easy to make and will be perfectly warm when you're ready to serve. There are also so many flavor options from Swedish to classic BBQ!

7. Mini Quiche. My son doesn't agree with this, but that's okay... more for me. I've always loved mini quiche appetizers. Sign me up for the spinach & cheese, please. I picked up a 48 count multi-pack at Sam's Club. Yum.

8. Bruschetta.  Mmm. My hubby and I might just hover around a tray if you're serving Bruschetta!

9. Warm Dip. Hmm. Move over cold dips, warm dip is here. Think spinach & artichoke or buffalo chicken dip. These are simple to make and packed full of flavor. Just don't forget to get a variety of chips, crackers and breads to dip with.

10. Mini Eggrolls. Eggrolls are a delicious addition to any holiday appetizer spread. With fresh ingredients all rolled up in a crisp blanket of goodness. What's not to love?

Mini sandwiches are a great idea. It's nice to have as many grab-and-go options as you can for guests. That way they don't get stuck hanging out by the food table. ;)

I love shrimp cocktail, but never feel like my parties are suffisticated enough for it. Guess it doesn't' really matter, haha. Egg rolls are a favorite side dish here, but I never though about using them as an appetizer. Thanks for the tip!
