MAKE PEANUT BUTTER SWIRL BROWNIES
These boxed mix brownies are crazy easy to make. Let me run through the simple process to give you an idea of what you will need to do to whip up a batch.
First you will preheat your oven and line your baking dish with parchment paper.
Then, you will need to prepare your brownie mix according to the package directions. Should be a simple combo of eggs, oil and/or water.
Next we will need to mix the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips into our batter.
Once the batter is completed, it's time to pour it into your baking dish and spread it evenly.
Then, we will warm up the peanut butter. Do not skip this step, you will need it to be warmed so that it blends and swirls in perfectly.
When the brownies are properly swirled, we will need to bake them up for about 30-35 minutes.
Finally, once they are cooled it's time to enjoy!
Are these a fudgy or cakey brownie?
These brownies have a fudgy texture; if you want them more cake-like, you can add an extra egg to the batter.
Why do I need to let the brownies cool before cutting them?
If you cut into these brownies right away, the brownies will just crumble apart. It's best to allow them to cool so they will have the time to set up.
How long are the brownies good for?
If you store them properly in an air-tight container, they will last for 4-5 days.
What's the point of warming up the peanut butter?
If you don't warm up the peanut butter, it will be too thick to spread it through the brownie batter.
I'm not sure there's a better way to describe these brownies other than indulgent. The chocolate and peanut butter flavors are perfectly balanced, and the texture is irresistibly chewy. Plus, they're really easy to make—perfect for a last-minute dessert.
