MAKE A PUMPKIN DESSERT BOARD

Easy pumpkin dessert board made with frosting and sweet treats to dip. This fun idea is perfect for all occasions from spooky season to any autumn party or gathering. Let's chat about ingredients and then go over the easy steps to make this.

PUMPKIN DESSERT INGREDIENT LIST

To get started, it's time to grab some simple ingredients. You can always switch and swap things out of course.

INGREDIENTS:

Gather up all of your goodies and get ready to create something faBOOlous.

PUT TOGETHER A PUMPKIN BOARD WITH FROSTING

Fit a pastry bag with 1M Pastry Tip and fill with all of the icing.

You can optionally cut out a desired pumpkin shape onto parchment paper if you want a helpful guide. Secure it to the center of your serving board.

Create a circle on the center of your serving board in icing by making small short dollops. Then, use the same process to fill in the entire shape.

For the eyes, use 2 Mini OREO Cookies and attach mini candy eyes on top with a dab of icing.

Make a small smile with black sparkle gel.

Place a cut-out rectangle shape from a Cosmic Brownie on top of the pumpkin shape as the stem.

Draw vines using green sparkle gel around the brownie stem.

Add Zebra cakes to the top right and bottom left corners.

In the top left corner and bottom right corner, include mini donuts, vanilla cookie sandwiches, and butter cookies for some variety.

Fill the remaining open white space with the rest of the cookies and striped marshmallows.

To fill in any extra empty spaces, use gummy pumpkins and marshmallows.

Serve your dessert board with spoons and plates.

Make the cutest pumpkin dessert board made with frosting, cookies and treats for Halloween or fun fall occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wilton Creamy Decorator Icing, Medium, 16 oz tub
  • Orange Food Coloring
  • 2 Mini OREO Cookies
  • Wilton Black Sparkle Gel or Black Icing Writer
  • Wilton Green Sparkle Gel or Green Icing Writer
  • 2 Small Candy Eyes or White Writing Icing
  • 1 Little Debbie Cosmic Brownie, Quartered
  • 6 Little Debbie Zebra Cakes
  • 6 Mini Donuts
  • 6 Vanilla Sandwich Cookies
  • 12 Various Butter Cookies
  • 4 Mini Frosted Cookies
  • 6 Pop-Tarts Baked Pastry Bites. Frosted Strawberry
  • 8 Mini Soft Baked Funfetti Cookies
  • 6 Pink & White Striped Marshmallows
  • ½ Cup Gummy Pumpkins
  • ⅓ Cup Mini Marshmallows

Instructions

Fit a pastry bag with 1M Pastry Tip and fill it with all of the icing. 

Optional: Cut out a desired pumpkin shape on parchment paper as a helpful guide. Secure it to the center of your serving board. 

Make small, short dollops to draw a circle in icing at the center of your serving board. Then fill in the entire shape using the same process.

Use 2 Mini OREO Cookies for the eyes and stick mini candy eyes upside down onto the cookies using a dab of icing.

Create a small smile with black sparkle gel.

Place a cut-out rectangle shape from a Cosmic Brownie on top of the pumpkin shape as the stem.

Add vines using green sparkle gel around the brownie stem. 

Add Zebra cakes to the top right and bottom left corners. 

Place mini donuts, various vanilla cookie sandwiches, and butter cookies in the top left corner and bottom right corner. 

Fill in the remaining white space with the rest of the cookies and striped marshmallows.

Fill all empty spaces with gummy pumpkins and marshmallows.

Serve your dessert board with spoons and plates.
