Ingredients
Instructions
- Prepare provolone cheese. Prepare about 10 cheese circle slices using the smaller circle cookie cutter for the hat "rim". Prepare one larger circle for the Santa's hat "pom pom". Using one slice of provolone, cut out a mustache and two rectangular "eye brows". Using a straw as a cutter, make four tiny circles to use inside of olive "eyes". Set aside. (Save extra cheese for another use.)
- Cut a cherry or grape tomato in half for the "nose". Set aside.
- Pick out two similarly sized and shaped olive slices. Take the tiny circles that you cut from provolone cheese and place into the center of the olives. Set aside.
- Cut out a smile using a pepperoni slice. Set Aside.
- In the center of the tray, make a large rectangle using the cheddar slices. Make it three slices tall and 5 slices wide. Add one additional slice to the right side of the rectangle between the two bottom rows.
- Set out Santa's "face" on top of the cheddar rectangle. Add mustache, nose, eyes, eyebrows and two pepperoni slices for "rosy cheeks".
- Place a couple rows of pepperoni slices in a half circle on top of the round tray for the "hat".
- Place Provolone circles to represent the hat "rim" to fill up space between pepperoni slices to the cheddar rectangle "face".
- Place larger Provolone circle at bottom right of pepperoni "hat" to represent Santa's hat "pom pom.
- Place crackers in a couple of rows in a half circle at the bottom of the tray connecting and filling up all empty space.
- Make sure there are no empty spaces. Fill in and reposition ingredients to finish up. Serve immediately.
