This isn't my first Santa snack tray made with cheese and other snacks, but I think you might like this alternate twist.

Be sure to save or print the recipe from the card at the bottom of the post for accurate measurements, etc.

Here is what I used to make this:

  • Cracker Cut Cheeses
  • White Cheddar Chunks
  • Provolone Cheese Slices
  • Pepperoni
  • Black Olives
  • Cherry Tomatoes

You can easily swap the cheese varieties for others. Pepperoni could easily be substituted with something like salami as well.

SANTA CLAUS PLATTER INSTRUCTIONS

It's time to make this cute Christmas appetizer with several easy steps. I used a 13" round tray to make it similar to the one shown. Here is a 14" round serving platter that is similar.

Perfect for movie nights and all of your holiday festivities and gatherings.

  1. On a round platter, use cheddar cheese cracker cut slices to shape Santa’s face.
  2. Arrange the pepperoni slices in a half circle at the top of the tray.
  3. Place white cheddar cracker cut slices in a straight line along the bottom of the pepperoni to create the trim of the hat. Trim the slice on the right if you would like to better highlight the pepperoni hat.
  4. Add a stack of deli cut Provolone slices for the hat’s pom-pom.
  5. Add sliced black olives on top of the cheddar cheese for the eyes and cherry tomato halves for the nose and rosy cheeks.
  6. Cut mustache shapes cut outs out of a slice of provolone cheese and place it under the cherry tomato nose.
  7. Fill the bottom of the platter with cubed white cheddar for Santa’s beard.
  8. Best if you serve this immediately.
