HOW TO MAKE BAKED RAVIOLI

You can prep this dish ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

If you are using uncooked, refrigerated ravioli from the store, you don’t need to worry about cooking it before assembling the dish.

Alternately, this dish can be assembled with frozen ravioli as well. Simply assemble as directed and increase the cooking time to 45 minutes. You will also want to cover the baking dish with tin foil to prevent the cheese from burning.

Here is how to make this:

First, you will need to preheat your oven to 350F.

Then, line an 8"x 8" glass dish like this square Pyrex baking dish with a layer of prepared ravioli and then top with marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.

You will repeat this entire process one more time. being sure to use the rest of the mozzarella cheese.

Next up, you will sprinkle the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake this up for 20 minutes or until the edges of the baked ravioli are bubbling.

Top with a dash of Italian seasoning if you wish and mangia!

Easy baked ravioli recipe made with only 5 ingredients. Quick comfort family meal using store-bought ravioli, marinara sauce and cheeses. 30 minute dinner.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz bag ravioli, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 ½ cup marinera sauce
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Line the bottom of an 8x8 inch glass baking dish with ravioli (about 9 pieces).

Top the ravioli with marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.

Repeat this process with the remaining ravioli, marinara, and mozzarella.

Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the top of the dish and bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling. 

Top with an extra sprinkle of Italian seasoning, serve, and enjoy!

Simply assemble as directed and increase the cooking time to 45 minutes. You will also want to cover the baking dish with tin foil to prevent the cheese from burning. 

I like to use beef ravioli in this dish, but any ravioli will work great.
