BREAKFAST SLIDERS INGREDIENTS

Here is the list of yummy ingredients that I used to make these delicious, loaded breakfast sliders.

6 slices of bread topped with cheddar cheese on a small baking sheet

Here are the ingredients used to make this:

  • Purnell's Old Folk's Country Sausage
  • Food for Life Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Sesame Bread
  • Large White Eggs
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cream Cheese
  • Greenfield Natural Meat Co. Bacon
  • Cheddar Cheese Slices
  • Everything Bagel Spice

HOW TO MAKE SLIDERS WITH BREAD

To easily make delicious breakfast sliders, you will need a small baking sheet. A nonstick ¼ sheet pan is absolutely perfect for this.

Before we get to layering the sliders onto the pan, we need to cook the sausage and prepare the creamy scrambled eggs.

adding scrambled eggs to sliders on a small baking sheet

Using the same small baking sheet that we will use to make these sliders, press an entire 16oz roll of Purnell's Old Folks Sausage into it evenly. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes and then cool. Remove from baking sheet and cut into 6 even slices and set aside.

Whisk 12 eggs with ¼ cup of milk until blended. Add one tablespoon of butter to a skillet on medium high heat. Add egg mixture and scramble until cooked. Remove from heat and mix 4 ounces of cream cheese until combined with eggs. Set aside.

In small baking sheet, lay 6 slices of bread flat to cover. Add one slice of cheddar cheese to each piece of bread. Repeat with sausage square, scrambled eggs, bacon, another slice of cheese and lastly, add another slice of bread to cover.

Melt remaining four tablespoons of butter and mix in 2 teaspoons of everything bagel spice. Use a food brush to add half of the mixture of the top of the sliders. Reserve remaining butter mixture for after baking.

Cover slider baking sheet with foil and add to a preheated 350° F oven. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, remove foil and brush on remaining butter mixture.

Place sliders back in over uncovered for 5 minutes or until the top layer of bread appears toasty and brown.

Before serving, use a knife to cut in between each sandwich.

To make it extra special, you can cut the sandwiches in half and layer them in to make room to add extra breakfast items like home fries or fruit salad.
