One of my favorite picks this season at Family Dollar are the trendy plastic eggs.  Glitter and metallics were my favorites! They start at only $1 per pack. Plus you'll find a slew of candy that special extra touch!  Classics like jelly beans and other favorite goodies are all priced right.

  9. The outdoors one - it made me think of an Easter long since past (which I probably only know from the pictures) where I got a basket with a plastic baseball bat and ball. I loved baseball for a long, long time. 🙂

  10. The outdoor basket, It's spring & time to start encouraging them to be spending more time outdoors

  12. I absolutely love the Outdoor Baskets for kids! Filling it with bubbles, jump ropes, etc. My granddaughter would have a blast with one of these. The great thing is you aren't filling it with a bunch of sugar, you are giving them something that they can actually use! She loves being outside, and what little kid doesn't like bubbles? Great idea!!!

  19. My favorite of your suggestions was the Creativity Basket. I would not use coloring books but would include construction paper or pads of plain paper so children can create their very own art.

Another great idea would be a literacy basket with index cards, small notepads, spiral bound note books, colored pens and pencils, crayons, and books. It would be great to inspire young writers and authors.

  20. Family pets deserve an Easter basket too: Cat treats or dog treats are available at Family Dollar- as well as pet foods, too, a basket for your pet can easily be done using items from Family Dollar.
