Construction Cookies

Yield: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes

Make the cutest Construction Cookie with waters and candies inspired by Rubble & Crew DVD.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Vanilla Wafer Cookies
  • 4 Chocolate Coated Candies
  • 1 Blue Sour Candy Strip
  • 1 Orange Sour Candy Strip
  • 1 Orange Licorice Strip
  • 3 Mini Pretzel Sticks
  • 1 Teaspoon Frosting
  • TOOLS:
  • Kitchen Shears
  • Knife
  • Toothpick

Instructions

Use one vanilla wafer as the base to your truck. Use dabs of frosting to adhere the wheels using the chocolate coated candies on each side.

Cut the other vanilla wafer in half using a knife.

Use frosting to adhere one half on top of the base wafer being sure to line up one end.

Cut the second half of the wafer just a little smaller and then line it up to the back of the halved wafer cookie so that it starts to look like a truck.

For the following items, use kitchen shears to cut out candies and use a toothpick and dabs of frosting to adhere them into place.

Trim a small strip to represent the front windows for the truck and set it in place.

Cut out a truck “grill” and set it in place.

Cut a small wedge from the orange licorice and adhere it to the top of the truck.

Lastly, cut a tiny little “exhaust pipe” from orange sour strip and adhere it to the top right of the cookie truck. Enjoy.
