Showcase Photos with DIY Santa Belt Clothespins
Ho ho ho! I've been digging the idea of creating fun crafts with Santa's Belt. Today, I am sharing a fun holiday craft that is kid friendly. I'm just loving Elmer’s Paint Markers for an easy way to create with kids because they work like paint, but can be used like a marker. The best part is that there is virtually no mess to clean up like you would have with traditional paints. Less mess, more creativity! Sounds good in my book! A dream for parents, no? This is a sponsored post about Elmer's Paint Markers, all opinions are my own.
I recently picked up some clothespins for crafting, this is my first time using them. I really love how they came out, and how utterly simple they were. Making it fantastic to make with the kiddos! I know we're all busy this time of the year, so I hope you enjoy this super easy way to get all festive! Let's jump in!
DIY Santa Belt Clothespins:
Here's what you need:
*Wooden Clothespins
*Elmer's Paint Markers "Bright Colors" 5 Pack (Red, Black and White)
I used the "fine tip" version which I thought worked out really great for painting smaller objects.
Here's what to do:
First, I simply used a red Paint Marker to color in the entire front panel of each clothespin. Let dry for a couple of minutes. The markers dry SO fast, yet another reason to love them. Great for kids since they aren't all that good in the patience department *wink*.
Next, I colored in black squares using a black Paint Marker. Make sure this is super dry before using the white marker over it.
Lastly, I took the white Paint Marker and just drew an outline over the top, bottom and sides of the black "belt". Let them dry a few minutes and they're totally ready to use.
See, I told you it was super easy!
To showcase photos using these Santa clothespins, you could attach them to your Christmas Tree or just hang some string or thin rope wherever you want to display them. You could also glue on little magnets if you want to use them for your refrigerator.
Painters® Paint Markers are as fresh and fun as the projects they create! These colorful opaque acrylic paint markers are perfect for decorating, drawing and personalizing almost any surface. Available in a variety of colors & tips, they are fast drying, permanent, streak-free, non-toxic & acid free. Express Yourself™! Follow Elmer's on Instagram & Pinterest!
