Cinnamon "Dolce" Frappuccino Recipe

Have you ever had a Cinnamon Dolce Frappucino from Starbucks? Can you say heaven? Well buying those would totally break our bank. We splurged earlier this week to have one and like anything good... we were totally craving another one the next day. I told my hubby I could try to make a copycat version. He was pretty skeptical because he is pretty particular about his coffee and I don't blame him. Surprisingly, I was able to whip up something that kinda really tasted like the real deal but has quite a bit less fat and calories too. Yay heaven!

When I set out to get ideas for the Frappuccino, I googled up this awesome mock Starbucks recipe which I used to help form my ideas and get a base in order.  I didn't quite think that adding regular cinnamon was going to bring that delicious taste that we love, but it actually did work out great with the other sweetness going on. I also used caramel to bring some extra sweetness and flavor to it.

I know coffee is one of those things where everyone has their own set of expectations, so you might not agree that this version tastes like the real deal, but give it a try and let us know what you think!

  1. BETTER than Starbucks 😀 the CDF was/is the only thing I've ever bought from Starbucks, and I've never been back ^^; so this is a great help for a non-coffee person like me that loves CDF's 😀 (I used Suisse Mocha powder so that may be why its so frenchy and sweet XD)

  2. What is it with Frappucinos? They are so habit forming. I will definitely be trying a vegan version of this recipe.

    1. Yes they are! I just tried making this recipe with coconut milk and it tasted pretty yummy... the coffee taste was a little stronger.
