Place all frostings into tipless piping bags – one color per bag.

Start by making a large green frosting triangle on a large charcuterie board (pictured here is a 12” x 20” board).

Then take the yellow frosting and make a star at the top of the “tree”.

Take the black buttercream bag and place a long wiggly line throughout the green to look like a string of Christmas lights.

Be sure the rows of lines are wide enough to fit on the jelly bean “lights” that we're adding in the next step.

Place jelly bean “lights” on the black frosting lines. Alternate jelly bean colors.

Place chocolate cookies or brownies at the bottom of the green triangle to look like the tree trunk.

Fill the rest of the board in with the cookies and other sweets you have to dip into the buttercream.

Buttercream can stay out at room temperature for about 3 days but it should be wrapped well in food-safe plastic wrap.

The best way to store these leftovers is to scoop the buttercream into a food-safe container.
