CLIFFORD VALENTINE’S DAY COLLECTION BOX
Are you ready to get this PAWty started? Let's start with a list of all the supplies needed to make this adorable Clifford inspired Valentine's Day craft. Then, we will move on to the very easy instructions on how you can make one of these cute boxes your own. CLIFFORD VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION BOX SUPPLIES:
- Small Cardboard Box or Empty Tissue Box
- Red Glitter Sheets
- Red Faux Fur
- Black Foam or Construction Paper
- Brown Foam or Construction Paper
- Red Foam or Construction Paper
- White Foam/Construction Paper OR Small Googly Eyes

HOW TO MAKE CLIFFORD VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION BOX
Make sure to download the PDF instructions or scroll down to print the official instructions. Here is a very short summary of how I put this Clifford craft box together.
First up, it;s all about picking your empty box. Once you do, you need to decide which side of your empty box will be the top. Then, carefully cut an even opening big enough to fit a thick Valentine’s day cards and goodies. If you opted to use an empty tissue box for your craft, you can go ahead and skip this step.
The next thing to do is cover the entire box with the glitter paper. It's easy to do when you use the actual box to trace out all the shapes, be sure to also trace out the opening on the top of your box.
Secure all of the sides of box using tape and then glue on your red glitter paper.
Here is a quick summary of on what to use for each part of Clifford's face for your box.
Clifford’s snout - folded red glitter paper.
Clifford’s nose - black foam or paper.
Clifford’s tongue - red foam or construction paper.
Clifford’s eyes - black foam or paper for the base. Brown foam or construction paper for inner circle, smaller circles out of black foam and very small circles out of white foam or paper OR small googly eyes upside down for the final touch.
Clifford’s ears - red faux fur.

DIY Clifford Valentine's Day Collection Box
Adorable Clifford Valentine's Day Collection Box to celebrate the movie. Adorable faux fur ears make this SO unbelievably cute.
Materials
- Small Cardboard Box or Empty Tissue Box
- Red Glitter Sheets
- Red Faux Fur
- Black Foam or Construction Paper
- Brown Foam or Construction Paper
- Red Foam or Construction Paper
- White Foam/Construction Paper OR Small Googly Eyes
Tools
- Scissors (Adult Supervision)
- Tape
- Pencil
- Fast Drying Glue
Instructions
Decide which side will be the top of your Valentine’s Day Collection Box and carefully use scissors to cut an even opening big enough to fit a thick Valentine’s day card or treat. If you are using an empty tissue box, skip this first step and use the opening that is already there.
Next, use your empty box as the template to trace (with pencil) enough red glitter paper to cover each side of your box. Be sure to trace out the opening on the sheet that will cover the top of your box.
Use tape to secure any open sides of your box. Then, glue on all of your red glitter shapes to cover the entire box. Be sure that you do not cover the opening we made at the top of the box.
Once the box is covered in red glitter paper, it’s time to make the shapes of the face.
Clifford’s snout - fold red glitter paper in half and cut a medium sized wide heart. Glue this on upside down towards the bottom front of your box leaving about an inch for the tongue. Don’t glue it on flat. Allow it to buckle in the center just a little bit for a 3D appearance.
Clifford’s nose - cut a small heart shape with a straight top out of black foam or paper and glue it onto the upper center part of the snout.
Clifford’s tongue - cut out a small tongue that is rounded at the bottom and straight at the top out of red foam or construction paper and tuck and glue it underneath the bottom of the snout.
Clifford’s eyes - Use black foam or paper for the base of the eyes. Let them come to a point on the outer corners. Glue them on first. Then, cut out small circles out of brown foam or construction paper and glue in the center of the black base. Next, cut out smaller circles out of black foam or paper for the pupils and glue in the center of the brown circles. Finally, either cut very small circles out of white foam or paper OR use small googly eyes upside down and glue onto the left upper corner of the black pupils for the final touch on Clifford’s eyes.
Clifford’s ears - Finally, cut identical shapes out of the red faux fur. They should be straight at the top and rounded at the bottom. Use glue to secure them at the top of your box. Angle them so that they hang down the way Clifford's do in the movie.
