Celebrating the best of summer is as simple as packing up all of your ice cream sundae ingredients into your cooler.  I'm going to share exactly how to do it, and what to bring, so that everyone gets to create their very own custom sundae with their favorite ice cream toppings! The smiles will be priceless.

HOW TO PREPARE COOLER PARTY SUNDAES

With a cooler and the best ingredients, you are well on your way to serving up an epic summer dessert. Here is what to do to prepare your fun ice cream spread to bring with you anywhere.

  • First, scoop your favorite ice cream flavors into leak-proof portable containers such as mason jars.Store in freezer until you are ready to go.
  • Add all of your toppings that need to be cooled into leak-proof portable containers, too. Store in fridge or freezer as needed.
  • Right before you are ready to leave, fill a cooler about a third way with ice and then load in your ice cream and toppings.
  • Add ice to fill up the rest of the cooler to the top. Just enough so that you can still close it.
  • When possible, store the loaded cooler in the shade or in a cooler area. The treats are best enjoyed within an hour.
