First, let's make the orange whipped topping.
In a small bowl, mix in orange food coloring gel until fully combined. Start with a little bit and work your way up until your whipped topping is the desired orange color.
I used a French Star frosting tip and looped around about four times for the perfect tall stack of cream. Taper upwards and end at a soft point on top.
Press two OREO cookies into the whipped cream for the "ears".
Add one unwrapped tootsie roll to the top center of each whipped cream pile. (Between the OREO ears).
For a final touch, add a few squiggly loops surrounding the Tootsie roll "stem" to represent the pumpkin vines.
These yummy little treats are best served right away.
Alternately you can prepare the whipped topping and add it to the cups and then set the cups in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Then, add the final steps of OREO "ears", Tootsie Roll "pumpkin stem" and Icing "vines".
