Trendy Family Photo Wall Ideas
If there is one thing that we've been lacking around the house, it's definitely family photos. Now that things are so digital, I find myself hoarding zillions of photos on my hard drive and on my phone, too. It's about time we make this house a home by adding our memories to remind us of good times. Today I'm sharing some trendy family photo wall ideas that I am so loving thanks to Fracture, a company that prints your photos on glass in the most wonderful way. This post is sponsored by Fracture, all opinions are my own.
We're getting ready to buy our home! That's right, the home we've been renting since moving to Florida! We're finally after a few years looking to finally making our house more warm and well... homey. One of the easiest ways to do that is with family photos. I was excited to discover Fracture at the absolute perfect time. As renters, we've always made it a point to not really hang much on the walls. So, this is kind of a big deal for us to kind of commemorate this time in our lives.
The glass prints that Fracture makes are just perfect for this kind of diy and they are also great to display on table tops as well. Each of their glass prints automatically comes with built in wall mounting, but you can opt for including a stand as well. Aside from how gorgeous and sleek my photos came out, I love how lightweight they are!
We had a great start to our summer with a family trip to St. Augustine and my son's first prom! I knew pretty quickly which photos would make it to our photo wall.
I wanted to make our family photo wall really unique, so I asked my husband to do a little fancy work on our photos first. He made them black and white with simple colored accents. I am so happy that I thought to do that before ordering my glass prints.
Family Photo Wall Ideas
The concept of a photo wall is definitely not a new one, but there are so many ways to put together a sleek modern look like I did. I am just so thrilled how it all came together and I hope that my ideas inspired you to display your own family memories in a way that overwhelms you with joy, too!
Plot and plan. Decide where you want to create your photo wall. How much space will you use? Get your measuring tape and take notes so that you can be sure to order prints in the perfect size. Then, you need to figure out which photos you will use. It might be easier to think of a theme or a specific timeframe that you want on display. Family vacation? Holiday or season? Once you have your plans in place, the rest is easy.
Decide on the details. Here is where the modern ideas come into play. I absolutely love the trendy feel that my Fracture prints brought to my project. They are frameless, thin and very lightweight. They are so versatile, easy to hang or display so you can easily change your mind later if you're like me and like to change things around at home often.
Bring the look together. Take your photo wall to the next level by going a step further. I chose a decorative vinyl that says "love" and it could not be any more perfect. Just make sure to get your measurements together so that everything will line up and flow perfectly.
I'm just so happy that we now have a warm photo wall that really tells a story about a period of time in our lives. Memories that now won't soon be forgotten!
Bonus for locals! You can opt to pick up your Fracture prints from their "Fractory" located right in Gainesville! How cool is that? I made a visit there to get mine and was really wowed by the idea of it all.

Do you have a photo wall? Have you been wanting to create your own?
Super cool wall decor ideas. Love how they are displayed on the wall, so pretty! I should make a wall like this.
What a great idea! Love it. I always want more ways to show off some family photos
Every family has special photos that they love. These beautiful photos on glass look like they'd look great on the walls of both modern and more traditional homes.
A photo wall is something we have always wanted to do in our home. This layout with a bigger picture and the smaller beside is such a great idea.
I am so indecisive when it comes to putting photos up! I love what you did here!
This is such a sweet idea for a family home. The prints looked great. I'd love to have an area of the wall devoted to family pics
I love your photo wall. The pop of color on the black and white pictures really catches the eye.
What a colorful collage! 🙂 We're just starting to think about what to put on the walls in our new place- it's exciting to plan! 🙂
Those glass prints with the pop of color are so much fun. We also rent and we haven't hung anything up either. I need to try this company.
I love what you did with your photos. I'm a big fan of making photo walls rather than just one picture here or there. I'll have to give Fracture a look.
